The China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development in Beijing, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Chinese Association, recently distributed medical equipment and office supplies worth Rs. 4.3 million to rebuild hospitals affected by Cyclone Ditva.
According to the President of the Sri Lanka Chinese Association, Mr. Jinith de Silva, the donations have been made to selected hospitals in several areas using these funds.
Mr. Jinith de Silva further said that the donations were made to the Regional Director of Health Services in Nuwara Eliya District, the Regional Director of Health Services in Kandy, the Manampitiya Hospital in Polonnaruwa, and the Kurunegala Base Hospital.
