UK’s NCA releases more information ! A large – scale drug trafficking operation centered on South Asia – Britain

A large-scale drug trafficking and money laundering network centered on South Asia and the UK has been uncovered.
The UK’s National Crime Agency was notified of the operation last October.
The National Crime Agency has revealed more details about the operation after officers found 25 kilograms of heroin in the suitcase of a woman of Pakistani origin at a Birmingham airport, foreign media reported.
Foreign media reports that the woman, 67-year-old Zahida Parveen, who is said to have arrived at Birmingham Airport from Sialkot, Pakistan, on an Emirates flight, is a resident of Manchester.
A few hours after the woman was arrested, two other men of Pakistani origin were also arrested in a joint operation by the National Crime Agency and the Border Force. One of them has been identified as Syed Shah, 39, who was working with the Border Force in Birmingham, and the other as Shahid Butt, 52, a resident of Birmingham. The National Crime Agency has taken steps to file criminal charges against the arrested individuals.
