Iran has warned it will strike all US military targets in the Middle East if the US launches an attack in support of Iran’s opponents.

Al Jazeera reports that Iran has also said that the attacks will target US military targets in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as several other Arab countries, including Turkey.

Iran has called on other Muslim countries in the Middle East to take action to prevent the US from attacking Iran if such attacks do not occur. The Iranian government made this statement in response to Donald Trump’s threat to intervene militarily against the killing of protesters during anti-government protests, Al Jazeera reported.

Iran’s UN Ambassador Amir Zaidi has also written to the Security Council regarding the US statement, saying that the US and Israel must bear irrefutable legal responsibility for the massive loss of young lives despite Iran’s opposition. He also said in the letter that Donald Trump should work to resolve the US’s internal problems before intervening in Iran’s internal crisis.
