Tamil diaspora trying to bring the retired High Court Judge Manikkavasgar Ilancheliyan as the Northern Provincial Council Chief Minister candidate.He also willing to contest as the Chief Minister candidate.

Now he made a European tour to check the pulse to contest as the Chief Minister candidate. Warm welcome in Europe to  Ilancheliyan everywhere.He blamed the govt in his speeches,  because the Anura govt did not give promotion to him. He is a courageous and genuine Judge  he stated in the meetings.

Some journalists say judges and Lawyers are not needed for the Tamils. A real committed person  needed for the Tamils. The previous  Northern Provincial Council the people elected Vigneswaran with a big majority,but he didn’t do anything to the people who voted for him. 

Sumanthiran is also planning to contest the Northern Provincial Council Chief Minister candidate. But the others Gajendrakumar,Sidharthan and Suresh Premachandran planning to eliminate Sumanthiran, Recently 40 million transferred to this group Gajendrakumar,Sidharthan and Suresh Premachandran from diaspora to eliminate Sumanthiran.

Comedian Archana is also planning to contest  the Northern Provincial Council Chief Minister candidate. Douglas Devananda is silent.
