Dr. Ali Kebriayi Saadeh, Director of the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sri Lanka, met with Dr. Ayesha Wickramasinghe, Chairperson of the National Crafts Council of Sri Lanka, yesterday (17).

The meeting focused on the possibilities of further strengthening the cultural relationship between Iran and Sri Lanka.

The meeting focused on identifying common areas of cooperation and developing practical initiatives to advance bilateral cooperation.

The main focus was on organizing joint handicraft exhibitions showcasing the artistic and cultural talents of Iran and Sri Lanka, promoting seminars and mutual participation in handicrafts of both countries, conducting training workshops, exchanging artists, craftsmen and experts, as well as developing a sustainable program for long-term cultural and artistic cooperation.
