Sri Lanka government has invited Sri Lankan expatriates living abroad and foreign nationals to support national disaster relief efforts with announcing accounts to remit money.
The government announced said Sri Lankans residing overseas and foreign nationals may contribute to relief efforts for those affected by the current disaster situation in the country.
“To streamline the process, two separate accounts have been established to accept donations in both local currency and US Dollars,” President’s Media Division said in a statement.
