
Indian media reports that talks have been held between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jordan’s King Abdullah to take action against terrorism.
The Indian Prime Minister, who has begun an official visit to three countries with the aim of discussing trade issues and strengthening bilateral ties, held the talks at the Husseiniya Palace in the capital Amman after arriving in Jordan, the first stop of the visit, Indian media reports that the talks have been held.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the two countries have signed five MoUs in the fields of renewable energy, water resource management and development, cultural exchange programs, and digital infrastructure, according to Indian media.
It is also reported that around 17,500 Indian nationals are currently working in Jordan in various sectors including apparel, construction, and health.
